After defeating Leeds United 1-0 at Wembley last weekend in the Championship play-off final, they secured their return to the top division. Attacker Adam Armstrong scored the game’s first goal in the first half.

After being relegated, Saints lost players like Romeo Lavia, James Ward-Prowse, and Tino Livramento to new teams, pocketing nearly £160 million in the process. However, the south coast team is headed back to the top flight for the first time in their history after winning the Championship play-off final last weekend.
