Many teams, including Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Everton, are likely concerned about the outcome of their summer transfer window.

There are arguably worse situations than Everton’s, as the team still has the same owner despite losing points this season. They are hopeful that a new owner will take over and give the team fresh life.

Newcastle, despite finishing seventh, will not be participating in any kind of European competition for the upcoming season, despite having secured Champions League football the previous year.

That ended with Manchester United’s victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final, and now supporters are concerned about the players they might lose. In March, sources informed HITC that the likesSam Matterface made an intriguing remark regarding Everton’s current circumstances and how they are “more likely to lose players” ahead of the new campaign when all of that talk was going on.

The talkSPORT host brought up Dominic Calvert-Lewin, a striker who is “going to Newcastle.”

In an interview with talkSPORT on February 6, 24 at 1:40 pm, Perry Groves questioned the potential move and the reason the Magpies would be trading one “injury-prone player” for another, Callum Wilson.

“Doesn’t that sound like a deal (possible Everton takeover) that is going to be done from now and the beginning of the season? questioned Matterface. “Therefore, Everton, over the course of this period, are more likely to lose players, than gain players.

“Bearing in mind that they didn’t have the deepest squad in the first place. That will be of concern – Calvert-Lewin, he is going to go to Newcastle.”

Groves responded: “Well, that’s having an injury-prone player (for another injury-prone player) because Callum Wilson looks like he is the one who is going out. Really, it’s a bit like-for-like when you are going to Newcastle.”
