The Miami Hurricanes will have one or more intriguing prospects in this class, while the Milwaukee Bucks will have the 23rd overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft. 33rd overall in the second round will be Milwaukee’s other selection in this year’s class.
The Bucks will have a ton of options regarding what to do with those picks. It would be wise for general manager Jon Horst to keep those selections. Milwaukee will have several pending free agents on the roster and they most likely won’t bring most of them back.
For 2024-2025 and beyond, they need to get younger and build around Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Trades could also be on the table for draft day or maybe Horst will save them for another time.

George knows who he is as a player and moves well enough to have some defensive potential. In fact, 68.4% of his field goal attempts were from three-point range. Although Milwaukee would likely prefer a player who is more “NBA ready,” this seems like George’s natural range and a respectable landing place.
He participated in 31 games with the Hurricanes last season. George’s averages were merely 2.2 APG, 0.4 BPG, 3.0 RPG, 7.6 PPG, and 0.9 SPG. Kyshawn George was a one-season collegiate player, therefore the Milwaukee Bucks would be taking a chance by selecting him.
He has a lot of growing and developing to do. The Bucks might need a more polished player with the 23rd pick. Kyshawn George could go as high as the 15th overall pick to the Miami Heat. That would be a massive reach for Miami, but there are a lot of unknowns in the 2024 NBA Draft. It would be a big swing for Milwaukee if they were to go with Kyshawn George from the Miami Hurricanes 23rd overall in the 2024 NBA Draft.
