In a stunning move, the Toronto Blue Jays have signed pitcher Jack Flaherty to a record-breaking 10-year, $300 million contract. The deal, which was finalized in the early hours of the morning, is the largest in MLB history.
According to sources, Flaherty was wooed by the Blue Jays’ promise of a guaranteed spot in the starting rotation and a personalized locker room complete with a hot tub and a ping-pong table.
