For a considerable amount of time now, the Chicago Bears had serious concerns about the quarterback position.

Although there were concerns about Justin Fields coming into the season, they chose to trade their first selection and give him another year.

They will now probably work with Caleb Williams, a talented quarterback from USC who is predicted to go first overall.

Similar to Smith, Williams is a mobile dual-threat quarterback who has been compared to Patrick Mahomes. He also appears to be one of the most gifted prospects in recent memory.

Williams will probably be the focal point of the Bears’ new offensive scheme, so it will be interesting to see what kind of return they can get for Fields’ contract—he’s too valuable and talented to be a backup.

The Chicago Bears entered the season with some confidence, but it rapidly dissipated, leaving them with a subpar 7-10 record.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Justin Fields might not be their first pick for a franchise quarterback, even though some believe the club as a whole has shown some promise.

Shane Waldron, the new offensive coordinator, will oversee him.

Joseph started out as an offensive assistant for the Seattle Seahawks in 2020. He then held the position of assistant wide receivers coach before moving up to assistant quarterback coach.

Interestingly, he was a safety for the Seahawks prior to deciding to become a quarterback in the CFL.

Throughout their brief tenure in Seattle, Waldron and Joseph played a crucial role in assisting Geno Smith in developing into a quarterback of the caliber of a franchise.
