However, they blew a fourth-quarter lead in a divisional-round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers after Christian McCaffery’s late touchdown run and Jordan Love’s interception.
Despite the terrible finale, the 2023 season may be viewed as a complete success.
The major issue for 2023 was whether the Packers had a quarterback of the future.
Love’s explosive finish offers them optimism for the future and the ability to build around him with their five selections in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft in April.
In another year, someone like Zach Tom or Aaron Jones may win the season-ending game ball, but this league is all about quarterbacks.
