The Dallas Cowboys are regarded as “America’s Team” by many, and with fans from all over the world, they are possibly the most well-liked professional sports club in this nation.
Despite the fact that Jerry Jones’ Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since the 1990s, the public and media continue to follow the team’s every move both during the NFL season and in the offseason.
Chris Broussard of FOX Sports thinks there are three professional sports teams in the United States that may be termed such or at least be in the same category as the Cowboys, even though the Cowboys are still many people’s favorite “America’s Team.”
But according to Broussard, who feels the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Yankees belong in the same division as the Cowboys, the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are not one of those clubs (via “First Things First”).
Due to their respective clubs’ winning histories, all three of those teams enjoy massive global fan bases and are extremely popular. Broussard is undoubtedly correct.
The Yankees own the most World Series titles in MLB with 27, while the Lakers are tied with the Boston Celtics for the most with 17.
It’s interesting to note that the Cowboys have only won five Super Bowl championships—far less than the Lakers and Yankees combined.
