No, the Suns’ luxury tax limits and lack of draft capital will prevent them from making any big splashes.

Phoenix, on the other hand, believes that they are one piece away from actually assembling their roster, and Bleacher Report identified their top three trade targets:

Zach Buckley: “Considering how well Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant have performed, the Suns may not regret having such a top-heavy roster.”

According to Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer, “they’re still looking to support their stars any way they can and have been’mentioned as one of the more active teams on the trade market.'”

Phoenix has limited options, though, because it has few assets to offer. Perhaps some of these names are overly hopeful, who knows? Dunn is a lockdown perimeter defender that the Suns could use, but would the Jazz trade him for multiple second-round choices and salary-filler?

With his shooting, off-the-dribble scoring, and competent defense, Burke would be a perfect match, but he might also elicit more foul calls than Phoenix can provide.

“If the Bulls would let him go, Drummond almost certainly fits the trade budget and would provide another presence to Phoenix’s lineup. However, both his function and skill set would be limited.”

Phoenix isn’t interested in improving their backcourt and has apparently been looking for an athletic wing for the past few weeks.

The names Delon Wright, Monte Morris, Jae’Sean Tate, Royce O’Neale, Miles Bridges, and Nick Richards are also purportedly associated with the Suns.
