On social media on Sunday, Alabama’s five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord announced his commitment to Ohio State. Offord is Alabama’s top talent at his position and is ranked No. 5 in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports Composite. This past weekend, he traveled to Columbus, Ohio, with his family. Out of numerous offers, he choose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Tennessee, Washington, Houston, Maryland, Syracuse, and Nebraska.
According to MaxPreps, Offord, a 6-1, 185-pound player from Parker High in Birmingham, assisted the team in going 10-0 throughout the regular season and finished with 14 tackles and four interceptions in 10 games. In addition, the junior caught 12 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns and ran 22 times for 182 yards and four touchdowns. In one postseason game, he also scored scores on two punt returns.
