Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Memphis Grizzlies want to sign guard Jordan Goodwin to a 10-day deal.Jordan Goodwin The Phoenix Suns sold 6-foot-3 guard Goodwin to the Brooklyn Nets last week as part of a trade that included forward Royce O’Neale. The Nets then waived him, Remarkably, the Grizzlies were also engaged in that exchange.
Throughout his 40 games with the Suns this season, he averaged 5.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.6 steals, and 29 percent shooting from three-point range.
Goodwin played 62 games and averaged 6.6 points and 3.3 rebounds last season. He spent the first two years of his career with the Washington Wizards. As part of the Bradley Beal trade over the summer, he was traded to the Suns.
The Grizzlies (18-35) are currently experiencing a losing season as a result of star point guard Ja Morant’s injury that ended the season and his suspension. Given this, Goodwin should have a genuine opportunity in Memphis.

Gobert was given a first-hand look by new coach Doc Rivers and the Milwaukee Bucks as the Wolves crushed them, winning 129-105. The Timberwolves are led by talented players like point guard Mike Conley, big man Karl-Anthony Towns, shooting guard Anthony Edwards, and others in addition to Gobert. Chris Finch, the coach, feels that everything fits.
Rivers told reporters, “I don’t think anyone’s laughing at that trade anymore.”
They simply play really hard and are really lengthy. That was really impressive, especially considering they were still without their starters late in the game. They were battling via screens; you can see that this is a team that believes they have a shot.
