rnal’s Greg Bedard stated on The Greg Bedard Podcast for Patriots Press Pass on YouTube that he doesn’t see a place for the former second-round pick on the team, he really lit the fire under the Patriots.

The Patriots drafted Jalyn Polk and Javon Baker in the 2024

 and also signed free agent K.J. Osborn to go along with DeMario Douglas and Kendrick Bourne. They also have other names competing for snaps and roster spots including Jalen Reagor, Kayshon Boutte, and Tyquan Thornton, leaving Smith-Schuster without a role, and frankly, the Patriots don’t need him- neither do the r only caught 29 passes for 260 yards last season. At this point in his career, he is not an outside receiver, which the Steelers need. He is a power slot receiver, which the Steelers do not have a need for. Pittsburgh has too many slot receivers on the roster as is. The last thing they need is another player whose best days are seemingly behind him.

If the Steelers are going to add a receiver, which most believe they will, they are better off just acquiring a Treylon Burks or waiting to see what happens with Courtland Sutton. READ MORE>>>>
