After winning the NBA Finals in 2024, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have failed to finish higher than the 7th seed in any of the previous four seasons. As James gets older, things get more complicated, and he needs more help from a supporting cast that never seems to be up to par. Because of this, as well as Bronny James’ uncertain NBA future, many are wondering if James will leave Los Angeles this offseason.
You have a greater chance of defeating an alligator than in escaping Los Angeles with Bron. He is not going away. It’s a commercial decision, this. He is simply exercising his option and power. He has the ability to opt out and receive more money.
Some Lakers supporters think James’ contract and his influence over roster choices are the primary causes of the team’s lack of elite talent and its inability to win a title.
