Property Watch: Inside Russell Wilson and Ciara's Bellevue Home | Seattle Met

The Super Bowl champion and his pop artist spouse Ciara are offloading their record-breaking Cherry Hills Village mansion, which at the time was the most expensive real estate transaction in the Denver region. Since Wilson’s significant departure from the Seattle Seahawks in 2022, the couple’s life in Colorado hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows.

Their enormous 20,000-square-foot home sits on five acres of land and has four bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. According to the Denver Post, they’re even offering tours to potential buyers who want to see the house’s two walk-in closets, offices, indoor swimming pool, basketball court and separate self-catering flat.

Unfortunately, the Broncos didn’t have a great season, with a disappointing 5-12 record and their head coach Nathaniel Hackett losing his job after just 15 games. Even though former New Orleans Saints HC Sean Payton stepped in to replace Hackett, 2023 was still a tough year for Wilson both on and off the field.

Wilson is a talented quarterback who led the Seahawks to nine Pro Bowls, but his season-ending 7-8 record and 26 touchdowns against eight interceptions were below average. Some experts argue that the playbook was streamlined to keep Wilson from making mistakes and that these stats don’t reveal the complete story.

With two games remaining, the Denver Broncos were on the verge of elimination from the postseason when they benched Wilson. They blamed it on his style of play, but Wilson insisted it was because of a disagreement about a contract condition he refused to waive.

Wilson has a special clause in his contract about getting injured If he’s still with the Broncos on March 17 this year, they have to pay him $37m for 2025 no matter what. If he had gotten hurt before the season ended, the Broncos couldn’t have stopped paying him by that date.

Wilson is still under contract with the Broncos until 2028, but it looks like he won’t be there much longer. Many believe the franchise will pick a new quarterback in the NFL Draft in April.
