The 2024 season is shaping up to be a big one for Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

After finishing 11-2 this past fall – including another loss to arch-rival Michigan – Ohio State made a flurry of big moves in the transfer portal, landing former five-star Alabama safety Caleb Downs and ex-Kansas State quarterback Will Howard.

After Saturday’s practice, though, Howard wasn’t the signal caller most Buckeye fans were talking about.

He joins a deep quarterback room in Columbus which now features Howard, returning signal caller Devin Brown and fellow Class of 2024 QB Air Noland.

For now, however, fans want to see more of Sayin.

“Julian Sayin looks very impressive early. Jeremiah Smith is a starter, and there shouldn’t be any discussion about it. That starting QB battle is going to be just that. Can’t wait for the spring game!” one fan writes.
