Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley got into a heated exchange with Indiana Pacers fans near the end of the Bucks’ 120-98 loss Thursday night. The loss eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs and Beverley, who plays with emotion on the court, allowed his emotions to get the best of him.
Standing near Bucks’ bench with a little more than two minutes remaining in the game, Beverley threw a basketball toward a group of Pacers’ fans, hitting one fan in the head. He then called for a basketball from another fan. After receiving the ball, he fired it back at the fan with significant velocity. A teammate then restrained Beverly as security stepped in.
