ATHENS, t Georgia – In fronof 4,027 fans at Foley Field on Friday, 18th-ranked Georgia defeated No. 13 Vanderbilt 10-0 via run-rule in seven innings thanks to a three-hit shutout by Leighton Finley and Brian Zeldin.

• In the first inning, Redshirt sophomore Charlie Condon gave the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead with his NCAA-leading 31st home run, extending his hitting streak to 16 games. It was his home run for the sixth straight game. In 101 games, he has 56 home runs in his career.

• Paul Toetz, a graduate, had a fantastic evening (3-for-4, 3 RBI), including a three-run home run in the fifth that put the Bulldogs ahead 8-0.Leighton Finley, a sophomore right-hander, improved to 4-1 by pitching six scoreless innings with eleven strikeouts, both career highs.

Each Every six innings Georgia batted, at least one run was scored.

• Against an SEC opponent, the Bulldogs recorded their first shutout of the season and their third overall. Since Liam Sullivan pitched a shutout in seven innings to defeat Kentucky 3-0 the previous year, it was the first SEC shutout.
